This morning in clinic a woman I have seen since the beginning of the semester came in for her follow-up appointment. She had received bilateral aids and was really enjoying them. She said she didn't wear them all the time, but that when she did, they really helped her.
The second client was referred to the clinic from Disability Services. Otoscopy and tympanometry were normal bilaterally. His hearing was also within normal limits bilaterally. The central auditory processing test battery was also administered, which he performed fine on. The client did not feel he had CAPD, but that this was part of the Disability Services process. He felt he had ADD or ADHD instead.
